It all started when…

Alex Coffin was the general manager of the civic centre in Sussex. In an effort to maintain a connection to the area and set up a tribute to his two daughters (Lily on the left and Alexandra on the right), he decided to open a store in the Sussex area. Alex had experience with selling running shoes but Sussex was missing a family shoe store. He had immediate local help from Patti Darling who had worked at the old family shoe store at the mall, Dawn Main who had investigated opening her own shoe store in the past and Wendy Stockford who had worked at the local Scotiabank. The original renovations were done by Brad Goodwin and Debbie Goodwin helped with an outreach program for the Portage Centre. In 2021, we opened two new stores in Saint John led by Lily Coffin and Salisbury led by Kim Gaynes. With three stores, we were able to greatly expand on our inventory selection. Dawn Main did the interior design for the Saint John and Salisbury stores.
